Home Based Vacation Business - What's The Best?

The travel industry is by far the largest in the world. We all know that if someone had the opportunity to travel they would probably take it in a heart beat. So how can we take advantage of such a huge and profitable market? It really is quite easy when you think about it. Sure there is some competition just like with anything else, but the prospecting arena is larger then any other market I know of. Everyone likes to travel, go on vacations, and you're not limited to one market such as weight supplements are geared towards people who are over weight, but vacations can be geared towards everyone.

Now, when pursuing this aspect of marketing you're probably going to want to do your research so you feel good about the final decision. Not I was once in that exact position. Let's just walk through some simple aspects to look for. Does the opportunity actually give you vacations? I know that sounds silly but in all seriousness, some of the travel opportunities I've tried did not live up to their big talk about their travel products and the complaints are all over google to prove it.

You will always want some residual income that's especially why I went with the business I'm in. Having a good residual income is good because you want to be able to stop working and still have income coming in. Another good point is always commissions. Some companies out there give such lousy commissions, trust me I've seen my share of opportunities where you need 2,000 members just to make a steady stream of $10,000 per month! With the travel company I'm with now; not only are the commissions high, but the payouts are very good too. Always know the pay plan you're getting into. Check it out in detail before ever signing up with some smooth talker on the phone. When I saw that you make money from the first sale that was a big plus. It's always good when you don't have to pass up your whole commission to your up line; that can really hurt!

Also make sure you know what your product is covering. That means make sure you read up and see which locations you can actually travel to. With some companies I found that I was unable to go to a lot of the hot spots I wanted to visit. That's why I'm happy at the company I'm with now because I get unlimited vacations to over 700 locations world wide. So now you know that you should check to see that it's legit, the pay plan, the residuals, and the products, and oh yes one last thing the marketing and training. The number one reason I am where I am right now, is because of the automated closing system. You see I no longer have to call leads all day. They have a system set up where the prospecting process is almost fully automated. You just spread the word on the internet as usual. After doing all of your homework you should be ready to go out there and really start to turn on your marketing machine. In closing, the home based vacation business arena is very lucrative and a solid choice for any true online marketer.
Best of luck and happy travels!

Create Sustainable Growth For Your Home-Based Business With These 7 Strategies

Starting your own home-based business can sometimes be as equally exciting as that first-born baby, knowing that it is the beginning of something truly wonderful. Unfortunately, some home-based entrepreneurs tend to lose that excitement when they realize things don’t seem to be going as planned and ultimately give up on their hopes of being a success story.
I don’t want you to lose that hope nor that excitement, so here are 7 ways to ensure you keep your business cruising along at full speed as long as you want it to:
1. Brand and position you business with a well-crafted unique selling proposition (USP).
2. Test everything in your business. Testing is the only way of determining what works and what doesn’t.
3. Don’t invest huge sums of money without first testing with smaller amounts. Whether it be advertising or promotional campaigns, test everything in stages with small investments.
4. Network for faster growth. Build your network of like-minded entrepreneurs to exchange ideas and strategies. If you can afford it, hire a coach or mentor to accelerate your business growth.
5. Incorporate offline marketing to generate leads. Another strategy used by the big guns in this business to generate more leads and sales either by using direct mail or phone.
6. Develop a relationship with your customers. This goes without saying as keeping your customers happy is usually accompanied with sustainable business growth.
7. Automate your business.
Let me just touch on point number 7 as this is usually where things fall apart for those just starting out. The whole point of starting a business is to free yourself from working in a dead-end job, but many folks inevitably trap themselves working in their business instead of on their business. The great thing about the Internet is you can use scripts to automate most of your business like lead generation, e-mail correspondence, and handling customer service. Yes, you can even outsource mundane tasks to others but if you can’t afford to hire someone just yet, scripts are the best way to systemize every aspect of your business.
I’m sure there will come a point in time when you need to take that vacation with your family and wonder how you’re going to manage product orders and customer inquiries while you’re away. Automating your business will free you from these worries, allowing you the option to take that much deserved time-off.
